We may do a little,
We may do a lot.
We may laugh and giggle,
We may frown and pout.

We may sit by a shade tree,
Discuss where we’re from.
We may lounge on the patio,
Soak up a little sun.

We may dance with a June bug,
Have a parade,
Or go to the park, and
Stay the whole day.

We may find we agree,
Smile and coo,
We may argue and bicker,
Cry boo-hoo.

We may find a rat
(or a puppy, I mean),
We may find a cat -
Wouldn’t that be keen!

But whatever we do,
We’ll do it our way,
Because, after all,
It’s Dandy Do-Little Day!
